About
Stuart started his racing career as an amateur point to point jockey riding his family’s trained horses, having 25 winners between the flags. He was assistant trainer to Gerald Cottrell a post he held for over 12 years.
The welfare of the horses at Haynefield is paramount and everyone at the yard strives to have happy, healthy horses. We are lucky to have a dedicated team working here to help us get the best from each horse. We strive to keep our horses in racing for many years, and aim to keep providing fun and results including races at The Derby Meeting, Glorious Goodwood, Newmarket, and Sandown to mention a few.
Each horse is treated as an individual and their training regime reflects their needs.
Training Fees

Ownership
Owners are most welcome to come and visit and watch their horses on the
gallop or just come and say hello.
There are many types of ownership available from a small share to sole ownership. Stuart is more than happy to discuss any possibilities with you.
