Newton Jack enjoyed the softer conditions and won the apprentice handicap over 7 furlongs at Salisbury, continuing a good week for the yard. As this was an apprentice race, he can run before his new assessed mark without a penalty, we will try and find a suitable opening as he seems in good shape.
